Using this clay, complex soldering setups become a dream. It will retain its shape and provide some heat protection from sensitive soldered areas. It is NOT a heat shield for stone protection. Although it will not break down, it may char slightly under direct flame exposure. It can be reused up to 2 or 3 times by diluting in warm water. After it cools and the part has cooled down, it crumbles, and all remaining small pieces can be washed away with soap and water using a toothbrush. Still soft pieces can be reinserted back into the jar. Dried pieces can be saved for later restoration.

NOT INTENDED FOR USE WITH PLATINUM OR PLATINUM GROUP METALS—— Platinum group metals do not like carbon, and it produces carbon. (Platinum, palladium, carat gold with palladium or platinum, rhodium, or iridium.)

PLEASE NOTE: The jar must be kept TIGHTLY closed, with the inner SEAL remaining intact. Do not discard the self-sealing lid liner. When not in use, it should be closed to prevent the clay from drying out. The clay is made from EARTH, so it contains natural microbes. Due to moisture content and natural ingredient base, a moldy smell or slight mold may occur.
