Opening of The Soul of Jewellery Exhibition in Helsinki
On 13th February 2025, we had the honour of attending the opening of the exhibition “The Soul of Jewellery” at the Estonian Embassy in Helsinki. Curated by Dr Kärt Summatavet, this exhibition celebrates the essence of jewellery-making, bringing together artists from different generations, each with their own distinctive style and expertise.
We are proud that Tavast Goldsmith Tools was part of this special event, supporting the craftsmanship and artistry behind contemporary jewellery. The exhibition features works by Julia Maria Künnap, Maria Valdma Härm, Kristiina Laurits, Indrek Ikkonen, Roman Tavast artists, and fashion designer Kirill Safonov.
The Soul of Jewellery is a prelude to a major exhibition featuring 54 Estonian jewellery artists. The Forest Whispers / Metsä kuiskaa will open in May at the Finnish Watch and Jewellery Museum Kruunu.
Featuring over 50 Estonian jewellery artists, this will be one of the most significant showcases of contemporary jewellery art.
